A little bit about the painting

Breakfast was made during a season of life where a donut and a Redbull shared between friends was the stronghold in the storm, not to be dramatic. Donuts with a friend is a sappy and beloved part of life. At Pao's donuts, we got to see friends in their 80's appreciating the same ritual.

The sun lighting up the cracked, orange Formica tables and donut glaze is so beautiful and so worth celebrating.
