A little bit about the painting

The Tea is a fine art original oil painting that reflects upon the blessing of a cup of tea. Tea is comforting, nostalgic and healing. As a kid I had a tea set that was very similar to the fiesta ware cup and saucer. I'd fill my cup with Chamomile tea and so much sugar it made a little sugar mud puddle at the bottom of the cup. I now enjoy my peppermint or lemon ginger tea most nights. Tea is a luxurious thing that brings joy and keeps my hands warm. The Tea is in honor of that daily blessing.
