  • The Tea | Amy Lewis Fine Art

The Tea is an oil painting by contemporary realism artist, Amy Lewis. The Tea celebrates the nostalgia of tea parties and fiestaware. The Tea Oil on wood panel 18x24" 2023 Available, inquire now A little bit about the painting The Tea is a fine art original oil painting that reflects upon the blessing of a cup of tea. Tea is comforting, nostalgic and healing. As a kid I had a tea set that was very similar to the fiesta ware cup and saucer. I'd fill my cup with Chamomile tea and so much sugar it made a little sugar mud puddle at the bottom of the cup. I now enjoy my peppermint or lemon ginger tea most nights. Tea is a luxurious thing that brings joy and keeps my hands warm. The Tea is in honor of that daily blessing. More Oil Paintings shop prints The Artist- Giclée Archival Print W.W. • Afternoon Snack | Amy Lewis Fine Art

Amy Lewis Fine Art's oil painting Afternoon Snack depicts french fries, a glass swan and an emerald bracelet. Hungry? Afternoon Snack Oil on wood panel 30x40" 2018 Collected. SHOP PRINTS A little bit about the painting Afternoon Snack was the first in this series on gratitude that has taken over my decade. French Fries are a top 3 snack for me. They also represent creating memories with loved ones and treating myself. The glass swan and emerald bracelet were found in a local antique shop. The curtain is made from tassels pinned to an old 80's dress. Things sort of came together and the idea was formed. This was the jumping off point from whence flowed all gratitude paintings that contrast something ordinary with a luxurious setting. • Oil Painting Smoke Break | Amy Lewis Fine Art

Amy Lewis' Smoke Break is an oil painting of a man's hands holding a cup of coffee and a cigarette. He is dressed in a sequin jacket and a fancy watch. Smoke Break Oil on wood Panel 20x24" 2018 Collected. SHOP PRINTS A little bit about the painting Taking a smoke break is fading from the mainstream. But there's a beauty and a joy in that break, especially combined with a hot cup of coffee. These things are bad for us, obviously. But it's all about seeing the good in the ordinary moments.
